Sorry

I am sorry I haven't posted in FOREVER! But the last few months have been crazy it has involved moving twice, vacations, anniversary, and birthdays. I will post more about everything including pictures. But as for now I am going to enjoy the few more days I have with my hubby before he leaves for three and half weeks. Check back after the 6th when Jesse leaves.

Back To School... Back to School....

Really I just finished my Spring semester last Monday and now I starting my summer class. I don't know if I am going to make it. Good thing it only goes till May 29 or I don't think I'll make. I have done two classes so only 12 more days of class and I can be done for the summer. Bring it on!!!!

I'M DONE.... ALMOST

So after a long semester I am done with all my assignments, finals and projects for the semester. 19 credits have made it a long semester and it feels so good to be done with it and know that I did it!! All I have left is to sit through two more classes where my fellow classmates finish up presenting. But for me I'm Done! I'm Done! I'm Done! Wow that feels good. Only one more summer class that starts May 11 and goes for three weeks, and then I can really enjoy the summer with two months off. Then one more semester of 12 credits and then I student teach. After that I can be even more excited!!! But for now it feels good to have semester behind me!!!

Spring Break

Last week was spring break for me so Jesse decided to take the week of too so we could spend some time together. To bad for me my spring break really wasn’t a break at all, the whole week I was running around trying to get caught up in school work, house work, and all the house things I have neglected to do because of my 6 classes, practicum, and work has taken me away from. So the first few days Chad my younger brother came into town and spent a few days with us. Since I wasn’t home most of the time he got to spend the day with Jesse playing the Wii, going four wheeling, golfing, and watching movies. On Wednesday my Grandma Jones celebrated her 70th birthday so we went down to Overton to her surpise birthday party. It was great to see all my family and spend a little time with them. We were planning on going to the fair on Thursday before we headed to Visalia to spend time with Jesse parents, but since we were flying the weather didn’t let us go to the fair and we ended up leaving early Thursday morning so we could beat the storm. It was a nice flight and we beat the storm which is always good news. We then spent Thursday in Visalia playing with our nieces and actually relaxing for a moment. On Friday we packed up again and headed to Yosemite where we spent two days on a photo adventure. For those of you that don’t know Jesse loves taking pictures and is pretty good at it. It’s a hoppy he shares with his had and though we thought spring would already be in bloom in Yosemite they were able to get some amazing pictures. Jesses mom Barb and I spent a lot of time in the car because that was where it was warm. We came back to Visalia on Sunday and had dinner and Easter egg hunt with the girls. It was a lot of watching or “helping” them find everything. Overall it was a nice break and now counting down till the end of the semester. I am so ready to be done.

Blogging Tip

For those of you that are nervous about people seeing your blogs but don't want to go private because you are like me and have family members who need a little "extra" help when it comes to computers. If you go to your settings tab and under the first section about half way down it asks if you want your blog to be posted for search engines. Change that to NO. That way when you google or yahoo your name your blog will not come up. That way the only people that can see your blog is if they are a friend of a friend of a friend. Which still can be scary but when you can't find your page on google it makes you a fill a little bit better. Thought I would just share. :)

Time for Vacation

You know its time for a vacation when you leave your purse in H & R Block and it takes you the entire day to realise it was missing. :) I am so ready for spring break. Only one more week. Though really I am ready for this 19 credit semester to be over. One more month and counting!!

Tag thing

Ok, so I am going to ignore any references made by Richard in my behalf in recent blogs he may or may not have posted, and just post the 6th picture I conveniently found in my 6th folder (whatever that means, mine aren't really numbered).

This was a picture of Lyssa, Andrew, and somebody we found out in the desert around the Vegas area. It was about a year ago (wow, already?!!). Everyone is probably glad you picked the 6th folder, because the first 5 are all airplanes, which apparently some people don't like to see all the time. I'm going to post some soon anyway, right when I get a day or two off and start breathing again. I guess I will tag anyone who considers themselves to be related to me in some way, which should limit the list to only about 60 people. And by 'related' I really mean anyone who reads this and feels like being tagged.

Disney!

For those of you that don't know from January of 2006 to August 2006 I did an internship program at Walt Disney World. It was the time of my life, and I met some amazing people, and got to spend lots of time in Disney. So when Jesse came home in November to tell me he had a conference in Orlando I knew I would be going on this trip with him. So he had to work Friday night, all day Saturday, and Sunday Morning. So we decided to leave a few days early to be able to play in Disney. So we left Wednesday afternoon and got into Florida late Wednesday night. We were greeted by one of my good friends Becky, who I hadn't seen in over two years so it was a great reunion. We stayed up till 2 or 3 in the morning catching up of life and then got up Thursday morning to hit the parks. The great thing about having friends that still work for the Disney all of our passes into the parks are free. Which is so nice because you don't feel like you have to get your money's worth so we would only spend a few hours in the parks each day. But on Thursday we went to Epcot and Hollywood studios (aka MGM). It was a blast, especially being there with Jesse. On Friday I went and showed Jesse were I worked and went shopping at Down Town Disney, and then off to our favorite hang out- Ale House. Friday was when I was finally able to see the rest of the girls that I hadn't seen. Saturday we hit Magic Kingdom and watched my all time favorite firework show WISHES!!!! Then we ended the Magical week on Sunday with a little more Magic Kingdom with Jesse this time and to the best restaurant on Disney Ohana's in the Polynesian resort. Its family style where they just bring you endless amount of meat. Lets just say that was Jesse's favorite part. :) It was so great to go back and see my old friends and get my Disney fix. Joys of the going to the Doctor

So today I had another appointment with my doctor regarding my lovely endometriosis or endo as the cool people call it. It has been four months science my lovely surgery and I wish I could say that I am all better and I feel wonderful, but I can't. The surgery didn't do a whole lot for besides giving me an official diagnosis of endo. Yippe! Something I knew I had the whole time. My Doctor Dr. Martin is a great doctor and really cares about me and making me better so today when I came in relaying the bad news he jumped right into action. And wow there is a lot of different actions I can take. The first one being Lupron shots which pretty much puts your body into menopause for six months, to help get rid of the lovely endo that enjoys growing all over my overaires and uterus. I have heard pro's and con's on this drug and my doctor stressed to me that what even hormones the Lupron would be messing with he would take care of. So in other words I would be on a shot putting me into menopause and hormone replacement therapy. haha. Sounds great doesn't it. But it does have an 80% success rate. Other suggestions were to have a different kind of surgery, which only has a 20% success rate. Other options are just taking more drugs when it becomes that time of month. But I am taking the strongest drugs and we aren't getting any where with that. Another option is Physical therapy to help strength the muscles so when the pain does come I am ready. :) So who knows what to do? Whatever it is, I just hope it helps with the pain because right now I feel like a druggy once a month taking all sorts of pills just get through the day. All I have to say is that Endo really sucks! And I admire all of you out there that have it worse than I do. You are the ones I look up too when days are bad.

And He's Gone

So much for the next post being about Jesse trip, but I promise we will get it up soon. He took some amazing pictures that I can't wait to share with you. But for now he jets off again tonight for another week trip. I'm kinda having a hard time with this one because he has only been home for 5 days and I was stuck in school and work for 4 of those days. I was really looking forward to spending the weekend with him, but he got the call last night and he leave tonight to deliver another plane. I am extremely grateful that he has a job in these hard times and today is one of those days I just have to keep reminding my self that. So another weekend alone, maybe I'll get some of my homework done. Its an idea. :)
