Thanksgiving in Hawaii

For Thanksgiving this year we were able spend it in Maui with the Owen family. We spent 6 days soaking up the sun and enjoying the beautiful weather.

Grants 1st Halloween we had to do it right! So he got to be two things. 1st was the Tin man for all the pre-Halloween parties and for actual Halloween he was a dinosaur. Jesse and I dressed up as a Cave man and woman. I don't have the pictures yet of all of us but I will post them later. We were just glad daddy made it home just in time for Halloween!

First Hair Cut

Grants hair was all over the place and mom couldn't stand it any longer. He needed a hair cut!! Daddy gave him his 1st hair cut on Monday night. Mom held him down while dad buzzed it off! He did really well with it. I think he was a little scared of the cutters, so he didn't want to move, making it easy for us. :) But Jesse was so good with him, he sat and played with him while holding the cutters trying not to make him scared. He is just a great dad!

Grant looks so much older now, but Mom and Dad love his new due!!!

Andrews Homecoming

Jesse’s younger brother Andrew returned off his Mission at the end of August. It was a lot fun to go to California and see all the family. It was also exciting because our oldest niece got baptized. We were able to take the plane and fly down there. On our way there we got to fly between some thunderstorms and got some amazing pictures along the way.

Cousin Roberts Wedding

This last weekend we made a quick trip up to Reno for my Cousin Roberts Wedding! We drove up Thursday and drove back Saturday. It was so nice to get away for a few days. Reno was beautiful. The weather was great and Hot August night was in town so Jesse was a happy boy. We stayed with some family while we were up there and it was nice to sit and visit with them because we don't see them very often. But Grant did great on the drive and we found out he loves the Muppets. We were watching it on the way up and he would laugh so hard everytime the Muppets came on the screen.
