Bragging...
I have decided I want to brag! After many semesters of school and many different classes at BYU-I, CSN, and UNLV I finally got straight A's. It only took me to my last semester of classes to do it but I did do it!! Go me!! I have been so close the last two semesters but for some reason or another I always get all A's and that only lovely B+. But not this semester! So this is my gloating for a few minutes, because I think the last time I got straight A's was in middle school. :)

Baby Shower / Thanksgiving
We have been busy the past few weeks. Jesse has spent most of his time working in Dallas. For the past three weeks he has spent the weekdays in days and comes on for the weekend. Its been hard but hopefully we only have a few more weeks of this and he'll be done. But in the mean time I have been going to school and trying to prepare for our new arrival that should be joining us in the next few weeks. I was lucky enough to have two baby shower. A good friend of mine Bryn through me one here in Las Vegas. It was a lot of fun and it was great to see friends I hadn't seen in awhile. But of course I forgot my camera so no pictures of that shower until I beg Bryn for the ones she took with hers. :) The second shower I had was thrown by two of my mom's good friends Melanie and Maryann in Overton. That one was also a lot of fun, and again great to see friends that I hadn't seen in a while. I am so grateful for the good friends I have and how much they helped us out. Up in till the baby shower we had NOTHING for this child, and now we are complete set. :) I can't thank everyone enough for everything!
THANKSGIVING-
This year for Thanksgiving, we spent it with my family and it was out at my parents house. It was a lot of fun this year. We ate a lot of food, and then went shooting, four wheeling, (well I didn't but everyone else did) Flew Jesse's airplane, and shot off rockets. We had a busy day :) But a fun day. To make the day even better the weather here was gorgeous and it was so nice to spend majority of the day outside.
Me shooting. I am not a fan of this picture but it does show how big I am. :) By the way Jesse took this picture and finds it really funny.
All the Yummy Food!
Rachel, Me and Desi (High School Friends) And the last time I am going to see Rachel for the next 18 Months!!! I am so excited for her to serve a mission in Norway!
A diaper cake my mom made! She did such a great job!
Mel and Maryann came up with the cutest idea. They asked everyone to bring their favorite childhood book to help us start our library! So now we have a WONDERFUL collection
of children books!
Jesse and I sportin the guns :)

Baby
On Monday we had another ultrasound to make sure this little one was growing at the rate he should be and, good news, he is. But while we were there we got some 3-D pictures so I thought I would share some. Also last weekend we went to a birthday party with some friends of ours (Thanks Joel and Bryn for bringing us) and they had a character drawer there and this is what was created from Jesse and I. :) We think he did a great job and the best part - it was free. :)

when it rains it pours
The past few weeks have been crazy. Jesse had hip surgery about three weeks ago. We had an extra piece of bone that was blocking the movement of his hip. So we traveled to California to have his doctor due this procedure. Everything went well, he had to spend the first night in the hospital which made for a long night but was able to come home the next day. He had to use a walker for a few days and then a cane but now is walking and getting around great. He is even back to work. But the day after Jesse surgery I got a phone call from my mom telling me that my Grandpa Jones had passed away. Jesse and I had headed home as soon as we could and worked on getting Jesse up to par for a funeral. My grandpa had been sick for awhile so it was something we were prepared for but it still was hard. This is the first grandparent I have lost. I have lost great-grandparents but not my parents parents. My grandpa was a firefighter at the Test-site and retired there. So at his funeral we had the color guard there and they did a very nice presentation of a flag to my grandma. We also had a photographer at the funeral (I know it sounds weird but we got some really nice pictures) and it’s a chance for those of you to see my belly. :) Although it was a sad occasion it was great to see family members we hadn't seen in years. And on top of all this I still had school and work to do so here are the reasons I have been MIA

Prague Videos
Stop through Dayton, Ohio - home of the Wright Brothers. One of the oldest planes left flying, it was really cool. Didnt have time to watch it go fly though :(
Landing in Greenland. Notice the floating icebergs. The runway was really rough since the temperatures can get so extreme up there, so its not the landing ;)
The ferry door in Greenland has stickers from all around the world.
Bremen, Germany street shops. Rainy morning.
The Cathedral in Prague.
City Center downtown Prague.
Just funny. Have another video from after dinner, literally saw this guy hold his hands up for nearly an hour and a half. Sure he does it every day too!

Prague Trip
As many of you have heard, I just got back from ferrying a plane to Prague in Czech Republic. It was a fun trip, had a few days delay from weather in Canada, but everything else was smooth. Since I was in between Hurricane Bill and Tropical Storm Danny, most of the days were cloudy and hazy, so not many pictures. Heres a few though. Hoping to post some videos next.
Landing in Bremen. Airport on left, city on right. We stayed right downtown and got to go to the street shops in the morning.
Prague from the trail on our way into town.
A little out of order, but here is the cathedral and another castle. Already too dark, but turned out enough to see I guess.
The shops in Prague literally from my seat as we were eating dinner outside.
A castle in town as the sun was going down. Notice the watchtowers in the pillars, the history is just cool.
Super old Atomic Clock in Prague. Tells time (obviously), date, month, sunrise/sunset, planting season, tons of stuff. Every hour parts and people move, hope the video works.

Boy or Girl
Tomorrow is the big day to find out whether or not we are having a boy or girl. We have had to postpone the ultrasound for a few weeks because Jesse was out of town but we are so excited for tomorrow. Let us know what you think it's going to be and we'll post what it is as soon as we can. Have fun guessing!!!

Jesse Made It!!!
For those of you who don't know. Jesse got to ferry an airplane to Prague this last week. I have a hard time with these trips because he is flying a small airplane and he has to go from Canada to Greenland, to Iceland, to Scotland. He just cant fly across the ocean. I know he is a great pilot but its in my blood to be a worrier. But I just got the email this morning that he had made it to Prague. He was able to do it in 8 days too. That's a record for him. :) Last trip he took like this took three weeks, though last time it was the dead of winter and he was heading north. But he will be home tomorrow night. I can't wait to see all his videos and pictures. I will make sure he posts about his trip.
