1st Baseball game

A few weeks ago some good friends of ours invited us to a 51's game. It was Grants 1st baseball game and he had lots of fun! He loved playing with daddy and our waterbottles. :) The only thing that was hard is it was REALLY hot.. Poor little Grants face was turning bright red from the heat. So dad pulled out his scarf and got it wet and after that we were good to go.

Quick Trip to Visalia

Jesse had to make a quick over night trip to Visalia last week, so Grant and I tagged along to hang out with the family. We just spent the day swimming and playing dress up.. The joys of being the only Boy in the family!!!

This picture will haunt him for the rest of his life!!

4th of July / Family Reunion

For 4th of July this year we were low key and stayed home this year. I had just returned from the Jones family reunion and Jesse was stuck working, so we weren't able to go anywhere, but its ok it was still a good Holiday.

But 1st Grant and I loaded up on the Wed. before 4th of July and headed to Big Rock Candy Mountain in Utah to have some fun with my Dad's side of family. It was nice to get out of the hot weather and see family I hadn't seen in a long time. We had fun playing games, doing crafts, white water rafting, and LOTS of fourwheeling. They had some AWESOME trails up there.

4th of July

This year we hung out with friends, had a few BBQ's, and set off fireworks. It was alot fun. We even got in a few rounds of Killer Mau while waiting for it to get dark. :)

Memorial Weekend

For Memorial weekened we flew down to Visalia to be with Jesse's family. It was great to get out of Vegas for a few days and spend time with the family. The weather was great and we were able to spend alot of time out side playing games and taking pictures. We were also able to go to the lake on Monday for a few hours which was alot of fun. Grant also got to go on his first plane ride with dad. He did great with it, he slept for most of it but when he was awake he enjoyed helping dad fly the plane. :)

Mothers Day & Lion King

My Mothers day gift this year was tickets to Lion King. This month is teacher appreciation so any one that works for the school district can get really good deals on tickets to shows, so we took the opportunity to go see Lion King. We ended up with FRONT row seats at the end of the middle row, which was AWESOME!!! It was so great to see everyone come running up the stage!! The whole time I was just amazed at everything from the costumes to the singing to being able to see the orchestra down below us. Jesse even loved it! Thanks Jesse for an AWESOME 1st Mothers Day! and Date night!!!

Thumb

We have been trying to keep Grant from sucking his thumb. I sucked my thumb for ten years and it was a hard habit to break. So we have been pushing the Binky, but I guess we didn't do it hard enough.

Graudation

I wish I could say I was done with school, but I am not. I still have another 12 weeks of Student teaching and then I can say I DONE! But UNLV doesn't have a graduation in August so I got to walk with my fellow classmates on May 8th. It was a bitter sweet, it was great to see all my friends but sad to turn around and go back to school on Monday. :) It was a long 3 hours to sit there and be called up for a good 5 seconds. WHOOO... haha.. So now I am on the count down till I'm really done, and then we are going to party!!! So stay tuned for you invitation to PARTY!!!!
