Where in the World is Jesse......
Well after some long days and many delays due to weather and maintenance Jesse is finally in LONDON!!! He has crossed the Altantic. Yeah he is making progress!!! We still don't know when he will be coming home... plans change everyday but as for know he is in London and is going to spend tomorrow (Monday) site seeing while the plane goes in for a little more maintenance (oil change and what not) then we will see from there. As for now the rest of his trip should go as the picture below shows. But thanks you for checking up on me I really appreciate it.. This is the longest time Jesse and I have spent apart and I am ready for him to come home but I know he is having a experience of a life time and that makes the time apart a little bit easier. I will try to post more about his trip later.

Update on Jesse
Jesse has a a little bit of a set back in his trip due to extreme cold weather. There landing gear became frozen and ended up needing to be fixed. So today they were in New York and the nearest place that could fix the plane was in Connecticut. So they flew down there today to get everything taken care of. So tomorrow they head of to Goose Bay Cananda where they are going to be till Monday. The reason being is that in order to keep flying they have to stop and re-fuel in Greenland and that airport isn't open on Sunday. :) Small remote areas can do that. So Monday they hope to make it to Iceland and hopefully by Tuesday or Wednesday depending on weather make it to Groningen, Netherlands. Here is a map of how he is going. The flightaware website will only keep track of him untill Greenland. So I am going to try to keep you updated with these maps, but again I probably won't get a phone call untill Iceland or Netherlands.

Where in the World is Jesse Owen?
Tuesday night Jesse found out he was going to deliver an airplane to Qatar, which is next door to Saudi Arabia. One of his fellow co-workers was suppose to take the trip but ended up getting sick, so Jesse stepped up to the plate. It was a little nerve racking for both of us. First off its the longest trip Jesse probably will ever do. And second he has never flown over seas so this is going to be an adventure for him. :) So he jetted of bright and early Tuesday moring. But if you want you can track Jesse on http://www.flightaware.com/ and his tail number N345BR. But if you were wondering when he will be home, we don't know. It all depends on the weather and how far they can go in one day. So I am hoping he will be home in two weeks. :)

Nieces Come To Town!!
Last Sunday Jesse’s sister came through town on their way back to California so we decided it would be a great chance to take the two older girls for a few days and play. It worked out really great because on Wednesday we were all meeting back in Palm Springs for New Years. The girls were so excited and so was Sarah. Jesse had to work on Sunday and Monday but made up for the time lost on Tuesday. We spent many hours playing games and taking bubble baths. (Note: don’t let little girls that get UTI’s easily sit in the bath tub for two hours, Sorry Amanda!) They also made a new friend Abby and got to play at her house with her barbies and dress up. (Something Aunt Sarah is lacking at her house.) We also went to the movies and the Lied Children’s Museum which was a blast for all of us. Just when you think you haven’t had enough fun, Uncle Jesse took them on their first flight (they would remember) to Palm Springs. It was a great few days we stayed up way to late, learned a few good lessons (don’t slam doors!) and ate lots of candy. I look forward to having them coming again. I always loved to go to my aunts every year and spend time with her and my cousins I am hoping this is something we can do at least once a year!

SNOW!!!
Along with everyone else in the Vegas area we were able to play in the SNOW!!! Sarah had a blast, she was like a little kid, building a snowman and running around playing in the snow. Thats what happens when your from the desert. Unlike Jesse who got to spend 4 years in snow in good old North Dakto. We were only able to get a few pictures before our camera died but it was fun while it lasted!!

Birthday Celebration
December 4th I celebrated my 22nd birthday. It was a great day. I started the day with breakfast in bed from my wonderful husband, and then we went to go and get our first Christmas tree together as a married couple. It was a lot of fun picking the tree out, I was like a little kid I was so excited when I found “Our Tree.” After wards we went ice skating with Joel and Bryn Smith and we had blast. We ended the night with dinner at Applebee’s. I was crazing there spinach dip which was delicious. It was a great birthday and Jesse got me everything I wanted.

Thanksgiving Fun!!
For Thanksgiving this year we spent it with Jesse’s family! We were only able to spend two and half days with them because Jesse had to work but the time we spent was a lot of fun. We got to meet the newest member of our family, Kylee! We tried to go four wheeling but when the gas pedal breaks off that puts a damper on things. (Nice Job Richard..haha..We know it wasn’t your fault) So instead we played Rockband as the “Owen Family Band,” ate lots of food and went bowling! It was a lot of fun, wish we could have stayed longer but bills need to be paid so back to work we went!

The Verdict is in…
For the past several months I have had extreme amounts of pain when it was that time of month. The pain would be so bad that they only thing I could do for the first few days of my period was sit in bed and wait for the pain to pass. I went to two different doctors explaining my pain and each one of them just put me on a form of birth control which ended up making me sick. Finally a friend of my moms who has had the same issue recommended Dr. Martin. My first visit with him I told him my history and instead of saying let’s fix it with birth control he said birth control hasn’t worked we should take the next step. The next steps were either having a Laparoscopy done, having a series of shots that send your body into metaphase for six months, or get pregnant. Since I am egger to finish school first I ruled out getting pregnant and it also doesn’t give me an answer to the problem, and the shot scared me and still kind does. (Plus I don’t think Jesse can handle me going through metaphase thirty years to early!) So I went with Laparoscopy. The surgery went well and today I went back for my post appointment and I have endometriosis. The lovely scar tissue that is formed because of it was all over my bladder and my left ovary. Dr. Martin removed all the scar tissue and now we get to play the waiting game. I get to see how I feel over the period of a few months to see if it worked or if I am still in pain it means that there might still be some left it was just too small for Dr. Martins eyes. If that is the case the next step would be doing the shots but I am not sure if I want to do that. We just might have to get pregnant since I know what is causing all the pain. But thank you Dr. Martin for helping figure out what was causing all that lovely pain. :)

UNLV Homecoming (This if for Kellie)
This week is homecoming at UNLV. I am not big into school spirit here because my goal is to graduate as quick I can and move on. But on Monday one of the ladies in my class came into class with the homecoming teacher and as soon as I saw it I had to have it. Just in case you don't know I am a HUGE Disney fan and this year our theme is "its' Magic" and they used the Disney font. So now I have a cute Disney UNLV t-shirt. It made my week, especially since I have spent most of the day in a classroom. :) The shirt doesn't have the little man on it, it just has the words. But I still love it!
